Bradley County Mayor D. Gary Davis tested positive for COVID-19 Tuesday afternoon, according to a news release from the Bradley County Mayor's Office.
Davis tested positive after entering a self-isolating period Friday, when he first began experiencing symptoms, the release states.
The mayor is consulting with his personal physician regarding further treatment and is experiencing mild symptoms. He will be working remotely from home for the remainder of his quarantine, according to his office.
