Part of McGhee Road will be closed in Apison on Monday and Tuesday, according to the Hamilton County Mayor's Office.
The work was originally scheduled to take place on Dec. 6 and 7, but was delayed due to weather.
Drainage tiles will be installed under the road at 11976 McGhee Road from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. both days. No traffic will be allowed through the area since there will be open trenches across the roadway between London Lane and Hope Ranch Drive.
Detours will be posted.
