UPDATE: The victim has been identified as Kristal Michelle Reno, according to a news release from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators have charged 32-year-old Kimberly Smart with one count of criminal homicide in the stabbing death of Reno, deputies said.

A woman is dead after a Friday night stabbing in Ooltewah, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies arrived at a residence in the 9300 block of Bill Reed Road at around 9:35 p.m. and found the 34-year-old victim suffering from a life-threatening stab wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital where she died, according to a Saturday morning HCSO news release.
An investigation is ongoing.
