Chattanooga police are investigating a Sunday morning shooting on Dodson Avenue that lead to the death of a 28-year-old man, according to a news release.
Shortly after 3:00 a.m., police responded to a report of shots fired in the 800 block of Dodson Ave. Emergency services then transported a man with life-threatening injuries to a local hospital where he later died, the release states.
Police have not identified the victim.
The investigation is ongoing, and Chattanooga police ask anyone with information regarding the incident to call 423-643-5100 or submit a tip through the CPD Mobile App. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
