Hamilton County, Red Bank officials investigating after early morning pursuit of stolen vehicles

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is investigating after deputies arrested two suspects Tuesday morning following two vehicle pursuits on Highway 58, according to a news release.

The Red Bank Police Department notified the sheriff's office of two stolen vehicles at around 8:35 a.m., the release stated.

Deputies first located and attempted to stop the first vehicle, a white Toyota Tacoma stolen from Chattanooga. The driver headed north on the highway and turned onto Harrison Bay Road, where the driver hit a sign at the entrance of the Morning Glory Subdivision, the release states.

The driver was then arrested and taken to a local medical facility for minor injuries.

The other stolen vehicle, a black Ford Mustang missing from Red Bank, was also stopped on Highway 58, leading to the arrest of a second suspect.

The release states that the sheriff's office and Red Bank police are on the scene as investigations continue.
