Driver airlifted after hitting Bradley County Schools bus finished with route

No one in school bus injured, officials say

A driver was injured after hitting a Bradley County school bus off Benton Pike on Monday afternoon, according to a news release from Bradley County Schools.

The bus driver had just completed the day's route and the bus was sitting still when it was hit by another vehicle.

The driver of the other vehicle suffered injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital, according to reports.

The school bus driver and her grandchild were not injured.
