NASHVILLE: U.S. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann, R-Ooltewah, says he is in quarantine following exposure to someone who had tested positive for the coronavirus.
"Last night I learned I had come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19," the Ooltewah congressman stated Thursday in a tweet. "I am currently non-symptomatic & since becoming aware of my exposure to the virus I have been in quarantine, following CDC guidelines, & in contact w/ the Attending Physician."
The new 117th Congress was in session this week to be sworn in and certify results of the 2020 presidential election.
