Hamilton County Schools teachers will be taking the classroom to the television screen in partnership with the local Public Broadcasting Service station WTCI on Jan. 21-22.

Students in grades pre-K-2 are invited to a live learning show featuring math, reading, P.E., music and other lessons taught by local educators, according to a news release.

"This service is to target our young students who do not have access to devices," the district wrote in a Facebook post. "This should not take the place of regularly scheduled class meetings over Zoom."

- Pre-K-Kindergarten: 9-10 a.m.

- First grade: 10-11 a.m.

- Second grade: 11 a.m.-12 p.m.

Families can watch the shows on WTCI, which is channel 304 for EPB customers, channel 45.2 for antenna users and Comcast customers can contact their local providers for channel information.
