A man was shot in Chattanooga on Friday night, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
Officers responded to a local hospital at around 6:03 p.m. to find the 23-year-old victim suffering from a gunshot wound that was not considered to be life-threatening. The man was unable to share the location of the shooting.

An investigation is underway.
