Two 16-year-olds charged in Chattanooga homicide case

Two 16-year-old males have been arrested in connection with a May homicide, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.

Ralph Smith, 47, was found on May 10 near the 4800 block of Highway 58 with a gunshot wound. He later died at a local hospital.

The teens are being held at the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center and are both charged with first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery. One has an additional charge for the unlawful possession of a firearm.
