A 31-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene after a single-vehicle crash on I-24 on Monday afternoon, according to a Chattanooga Police Department news release.
Other drivers on the road said that the individual was driving "erratically" in a Jeep Grand Cherokee going east on the highway before the vehicle left the road, hit a concrete barrier and overturned on the shoulder.
