Two Atlanta men are facing felony murder charges in the Christmas Eve shooting of a 22-year-old man in Dalton, Georgia.

According to a news release from the Dalton Police Department, on that night, Jordan McDougle was dropped off at a hospital in Calhoun, Georgia, with a gunshot wound, later dying from his injuries.

Following an investigation with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Dalton police determined that McDougle had been shot in the 600 block of Fourth Avenue. On Feb. 12, they issued warrants for the arrests of Gregory Grier, 27, and Issac Hickman, 17.

The release states that both suspects were recently in police custody for other charges in other counties in the state. As of Thursday, Grier had been extradited to the Whitfield County Jail and Hickman was awaiting relocation from a facility in Fulton County.
