A man died Thursday morning following a crash during heavy traffic on I-75, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
Officers responded to the crash at around 6 a.m. It was determined that the victim was traveling north on the interstate when his vehicle collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer that had slowed to a stop due to heavy traffic, the release states.
The 35-year-old man was pronounced dead on the scene.
