The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a woman was struck by a vehicle and died of her injuries Friday morning.
According to a news release, the 29-year-old was walking south near the 11600 block of Armstrong Road when she was hit by an oncoming Chevrolet pickup. Officers arrived on the scene around 6:45 a.m.
The victim died of her injuries and is not being identified by the sheriff's office until notification of relatives.
