Authorities are investigating the shooting death of a 33-year-old man on Fourth Avenue Tuesday night, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
Just before midnight, officers arrived at the 2400 block of Fourth Avenue to find a shooting victim identified as De'aunte Duncan. Emergency services later pronounced Duncan dead at the scene, according to police.
Chattanooga police are asking anyone with information to call 423-643-5100 or submit a tip through the Chattanooga Police Department's mobile app. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
