Chattanooga police are investigating the Monday night shooting death of a 20-year-old man on North Willow Street, according to a news release.
Just before midnight, officers arrived at the 500 block of North Willow Street to find a victim suffering from a gunshot. The victim, who has not been identified by police, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to investigators.
The man was "standing outside near the location when he was shot by an unknown suspect," the release stated.
Chattanooga police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call 423-643-5100 or submit a tip through the Chattanooga Police Department's mobile app.
