A man has been arrested and charged after a business on Hixson Pike was burglarized, according to a news release from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

On June 21, deputies received information that Christopher Dall told family members that he was leaving a house on Jackson Mill Road "threatening to break into a local vape shop on Hixson Pike," the release stated.

When deputies arrived at Smokin' Joe's Tobacco Shop in the 8700 block of Hixon Pike in Lakesite, Tennessee, they found a window at the business had been broken out and other evidence that a burglary had occurred.

Dall, who was not immediately located at the scene, was found jumping a fence near the 7300 block of Hixson Pike, according to investigators. Red Bank Police K-9 units also responded to the scene to assist deputies, and they tracked Dall back to the residence on Jackson Mill Road.

Dall was found with $1,600 worth of vapes in a backpack and taken into custody without injury, deputies said. He was ultimately charged with burglary, theft of property over $1,000 and vandalism.
