PressReader, the technology partner of the Chattanooga Times Free Press, is still experiencing network issues Friday that are affecting the newspaper's app.

The company is experiencing a network outage that is affecting sites and apps, as well as delivery of content, PressReader officials said in a Facebook post Thursday.

To access the replica now, go to timesfreepress.com and in the upper left-hand corner select "Today's Paper." This is a complete digital replica of today's paper. Some of the features you are used to in our app still work. You may need a username and password if you have not accessed it in the past.

The outage has affected newspapers, libraries, and museums that utilize the platform in areas including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

Jeff DeLoach, president of the Times Free Press, sent out an email to subscribers Thursday morning about the outage and explained that, at this time, it is uncertain when the issue will be resolved.

Jay Horton, the president of digital at WEHCO Media Inc., the parent company of Times Free Press and 10 other daily newspapers, wrote in an email Thursday morning that all of the company's newspapers are down.

Another option to access the content of the newspaper is to read articles online on the website, according to the email.

"We are getting continual status updates and know that PressReader has all hands on deck, working to get our servers back online." Horton said. "We apologize to all of our subscribers for the disruption."

PressReader officials said they are making every effort to resolve the issue as quickly as possible, though there was no estimated time for when that might be.
