UPDATE:
Chattanooga entrepreneur Weston Wamp won the GOP nomination Tuesday to try to become Hamilton County's next mayor.
Wamp, the 35-year-old son of former U.S. Rep. Zach Wamp, R-Chattanooga, would be the youngest mayor in Hamilton County since the job was created nearly a half century if he defeats an even younger Democratic rival, 25-year-old Matt Adams, in the Aug. 4 general election.
Law enforcement attorney Coty Wamp decisively defeated incumbent Neal Pinkston for the Republican nomination for Hamilton County district attorney. Wamp received more than 70% of the vote.

Hamilton County voters pick a Republican candidate for mayor Tuesday, along with deciding on a primary election winner for district attorney. Voters will also take part in primary elections for county commissioners using district maps redrawn using 2020 census data - and take part in the first partisan primary for school board seats. Several judicial primaries will also be on the ballot.
Voting will occur at 90 precincts. Polls close at 8 p.m and results will be updated below as they come in.
Early voting and absentee ballots are included in the totals below as well as votes from 90 of 90 precincts.
