Beginning Tuesday, May 17, the Chattanooga Times Free Press will reopen its front lobby to members of the public.

The paper's main entrance at 400 East 11th St., Chattanooga, has been closed since mid-March 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The front door will be open for regular business operations from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Following guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the paper requires all unvaccinated or otherwise at-risk customers, guests and employees to wear a face mask in the building.

The newspaper thanks its readers and visitors for their patience and understanding.
