A Dalton, Ga., man was injured after crashing his car in two locations Saturday night, according to police.
Edward Duncan, 51, was taken to Hamilton Medical Center with unknown injuries after his 2004 Pontiac Aztec left the road and struck a building at 1006 N. Glenwood Ave., police said.
A few minutes before that wreck, a Dalton police officer witnessed Mr. Duncan crash at the Cleveland Highway bypass. As the officer checked for injuries, Mr. Duncan pulled away and sped toward Glenwood Avenue, police said.
Mr. Duncan has been charged with driving under the influence, violation of condition of driving permit, reckless driving, traveling too fast for conditions and failure to maintain a lane.
