Police investigating hospital bomb scare

Chattanooga police responded to a bomb threat Tuesday at Memorial North Park Hospital after a woman called 911 and said a bomb was on the second floor.

Police spokeswoman Officer Rebecca Royval said police and fire personnel arrived after hospital administrators decided to lock down the facility.

A Chattanooga police bomb dog scoured the hospital but found no evidence of a bomb, Officer Royval said. The hospital now is back to normal operations, she said.
