Crime Stoppers this week is looking for a man who beat and robbed a neighbor in North Chattanooga.
According to a police news release, an elderly Spears Avenue resident opened the door Thursday to a man who asked to use her phone. She told police she had known the man from the neighborhood for a long time.
Once inside, he asked for money. She gave him $8, but he demanded more and punched her in the eye, police said. She gave him more money, but he still choked and pushed her before leaving with the money, a cell phone and a chain saw, police said.
