A smiling 9-year-old Patrick Sharrock clutched a sign that set off a section of seats for his family tonight in the Metro Tabernacle Church.

The Sharrock family, of Rossville, were the guests of honor at a viewing party for tonight's edition of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" that featured his family and their new home built in February.

The builders, hundreds of volunteers and the rest of the Sharrock family, Patrick's parents, Michael and Cindy, gathered to watch the season finale.

The Sharrocks' new home was built to accommodate Patrick, who has brittle bone disease.

As the family waited for the show to start, Patrick's sneaker-clad feet dangled from a chair.

What's his favorite part of the new house? That's easy.

"My room. It's really cool," said Patrick.
