Crime Stoppers and the Chattanooga Police Department are asking for help regarding a robbery last week.

On April 3 at around 10:03 a.m., a black male entered Markman's Jewelers, 2104 Hamilton Place Blvd., according to a news release.

After an employee turned around to help him, the man jumped over the counter and pointed a gun at her. He gathered up the employees, asked for the cash and stole thousands of dollars in jewelry and diamonds, the news release said. He then ordered the employees to a back storage room, where he sprayed them with Mace before fleeing, the news release said. The surveillance video shows a man wearing a red shirt, blue jeans and a baseball cap.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 423-698-3333. Callers could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
