A 74-year-old man died in a wrong-way crash that involved four vehicles and eight people Saturday morning on I-75 in McMinn County.

According to the Tennesee Highway Patrol, Bruce Farmer was driving south in the northbound lane when his 2008 Chevy hit the rear corner of a second vehicle, driven by Cara Bullard. Her vehicle spun several times, then stopped in the middle of the road.

Farmer kept driving and hit a 1998 Ford, driven by Xuelu Lin, nearly head-on. A fourth vehicle then struck Bullard's car and rolled over, the report reads.

Farmer was pronounced dead at the scene. Four other people were injured, and three were uninjured. Everyone involved in the crash was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
