Last month, our two granddaughters were visiting us from out-of-town. We decided to have lunch at Chick-fil-A on Highway 153. A woman stopped at our table to ask if I was driving a white Lexus. When I said yes, she said a van had hit my car and did not stop. She got the license number, name of the company and the van's color. Another woman told us that she also had seen my car being hit. I took down their names and phone numbers. When I got home, my husband and I looked up the telephone number of the company and talked to the superintendent, who said he would look into it. The next day we met him so he could photograph the damage. We are assured that the company's insurance will cover the cost of repair.

I was so thankful that we had two witnesses. Without those two wonderful and thoughtful ladies, Faye Wilcox and Tracey Mozingo, we would have had to pay for the damage on our own. There are still Good Samaritans in our midst!
