The month of April means it's time to for the annual Bench Press competition at Erlanger's downtown campus in which doctors, nurses, students and all employees are asked to roll up their sleeves and lift weights for a great cause.
This event raises money to "Press Out Domestic Violence." The donations benefit children affected by domestic violence who are seen at the Children's Hospital at Erlanger. The medical students at University of Tennessee College of Medicine-Chattanooga spearheaded this year's competition and worked with Partnership for Families, Children and Adults.
The fundraiser was sponsored once again by the Workout Anytime team in Chattanooga. A little bit of sweat and determination - all for kids who do not have a voice when bad things are happening in their lives.
