Good Deed: Letter carriers support the Stamp Out Hunger food drive

Our final numbers from Stamp Out Hunger are in, and because of the generous donations from the public, we finished at 56 percent more than last year, with a total of 118,786 pounds of food. This is fantastic news and will help us and our partners' agencies as we prepare to battle summer hunger.

We would like to thank the National Association of Letter Carriers, specifically the local carriers who went above and beyond to make all of this possible. We also want to thank all of our volunteer groups that helped to sort the donations - STEM High School Chattanooga, Girls Preparatory School, WestRock, Girl Scout Troop #40371 and of course, all of our regular, dedicated weekly volunteers. Together, we can end hunger.
