Lending a "helping hand" comes in a variety of ways. Donating one's time or items of value is one way that Staybridge Suites Chattanooga Downtown recently gave back to the community. The hotel donated 184 televisions to the Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy. The TVs, totaling nearly $10,000 in value, will be used in classrooms and as incentives for students.

"The CGLA is thriving today thanks to visionary leaders in the community," said Elaine Swafford, executive director at CGLA. "We are deeply grateful for the gift, and Staybridge Suite's commitment to CGLA."

Owned and operated by Chattanooga-based 3H Group Hotels, community service is part of the company's values. Over the years, the hotel has partnered with Habitat for Humanity, Chambliss Center, Room in the Inn among others. Staybridge hopes that its contribution helps enhance the building blocks of CGLA's school and program.
