Erlanger nurses have teamed up with Chattanooga's Widows Harvest Ministries. This nonprofit organization promotes the spiritual and physical well-being of women in our area who are often forgotten. The nurses do everything from weekly wellness checks to just providing a friend who will listen.

The nurses served up some great barbecue recently as a way to celebrate this wonderful partnership.

Thank you to the employees from Tennessee Galvanizing in Marion County for providing the meal. As Ingrid Bergman once said, "Getting old is like climbing a mountain; you get a little out of breath, but the view is much better!"

I think our nurses have learned an invaluable lesson this year.
