Kevin Ward will soon earn his Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in the Boy Scouting program. This 15-year-old, a student at McCallie School, is a proud member of Troop 3 at Ooltewah's Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His two older brothers and father are also Eagle Scouts.
For his Scouting project, he collected hundreds of new toys for the patients at Children's Hospital at Erlanger. From stuffed animals to blankets and movies, Kevin went all through his neighborhood with the help of his fellow Scout members. It was a summer of giving back to others.
