Thank you to the man named Jamie who works for Hamilton County. He was mowing grass at Cofer Cemetery, and we couldn't find my mother's grave. The grass had totally consumed the marker since I was there last time. He helped us look for the marker and just about gave up. He went to his truck and got a shovel and poked around where I thought it was, and he found it.
Thank you, Jamie. There are still good people. Thank you to the other guys there for mowing and to Hamilton County for taking care of this beautiful place. Most of the graves and markers have disappeared over time. It's mostly a forgotten place.
