Last month Jeff Markman and Scott Burnett of Markman's presented a $1,900 check to Gina Crumbliss of Chattanooga Area Food Bank during WRCB-TV's "Share Your Christmas" food drive. The retailer raised money through its Open the Vault fundraiser held Nov. 1-3 at Markman's, located outside Hamilton Place mall. A portion of the fundraiser's proceeds were donated to the food bank.

"We are extremely happy to make a donation to such a deserving organization like Chattanooga Area Food Bank for the second year in a row," Jeff Markman said. "Markman's has had a long tradition of giving back to our local community, and we wanted our Open the Vault Event to be a continuation of that spirit of charity."
