First Volunteer Bank, Kiwanis Club of Fort Oglethorpe and the 6th Cavalry Museum are partners with West Side Elementary School to provide the school with resources and volunteers. A bake sale, held at First Volunteer Bank, raised $360 for the school's PTO.

First Volunteer Bank's market leader Alma Estrada had this to say: "Our staff and customers look forward to the bake sale and supporting West Side Elementary. Being active in our Fort Oglethorpe community is important to our staff and shows our commitment to being a positive influence and helping to make a difference."

This is the third year for the benefit bake sale.
