Thank you, Troop 52, for helping with Clean Catoosa day as your spring service project. Troop members cleaned and removed debris from around the Old Post Chapel, which is now First Presbyterian Church of Fort Oglethorpe, the 6th Cavalry Museum, and from the entrance to Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park.

Troop 52 is the original troop chartered by the Army here and has performed many service projects on the historic Post grounds over the years. Some of the stained-glass windows in the church commemorate Scoutmasters and Eagle Scouts from the 1930s while the fort was an active Army post.

Thank you for all your help.

— Chris McKeever, executive director, 6th Cavalry Museum
