McCallie School middle and high school students recently donated turkeys and traditional Thanksgiving foods to The Salvation Army's Chattanooga Area Command. The items were boxed and distributed to 75 families and individuals in our area. The Salvation Army appreciates McCallie students and their families, faculty and staff for their dedication to serving our neighbors in need.

The Salvation Army has several other holiday programs underway to help underserved people in our area, including the Angel Tree Program, which provides children and senior adults with Christmas gifts, holiday meals, warm clothes and other essentials. You can adopt an Angel and give the gift of Christmas morning by visiting an Angel Tree at your local Walmart Supercenter, Hamilton Place Mall or Northgate Mall.

Additionally, a variety of volunteer opportunities with The Salvation Army can be found online at csarmy.org.
