Good Deed: McDonald's owner-operators donate to Ronald McDonald House

Local McDonald's owner-operators of the McDonald's Greater Tennessee Valley Operators Association recently donated $7,505 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga. Ronald McDonald House keeps sick children close to their families and close to the care they need. This donation was the result of a Shamrock Shake promotion. For every Shamrock Shake sold, a portion of proceeds was donated to Ronald McDonald House.

Ronald McDonald House Charities relies on donations to provide services to sick children and their families in the community. While it costs $75 a night to house a family, the organization asks guests to donate $10 per night, and no family has ever been turned away due to the inability to pay.
