Ingles Markets presented the Chattanooga Area Food Bank (CAFB) with 1,200 gallons of Laura Lynn milk. Milk is one of the items most sought after by CAFB clients, yet due to its perishable nature, it is rarely donated. The milk provided by Ingles was redistributed among Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia children and families in need.

This year, Ingles Markets along with Milkco and the Southeast United Dairy Industry Association joined Feeding America's Great American Milk Drive - the first nationwide program to deliver gallons of nutrient-rich milk to hungry families who need it most. Ingles Markets invited customers to make a small donation at checkout to help with delivery.
