Idolizing Trump confuses believer

I have read that many Christian voters idolize former President Donald J. Trump.

If you believe in the Bible, then you know that God forbids idolatry. God is very specific about this. Exodus 20:3-4: "Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth."

"Psalm 135:15: "The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands."

Thus, I was quite surprised to see the gold, human-sized statue of Trump being wheeled into the Republican CPAC meeting. I don't know about you, but I worship God, not Trump.

Rehire Trump to protect country

Does Joe Biden know anything about what he is doing? He insists on awarding Iran with a sweetheart deal. Israel is in immediate danger. Iran's ayatollah has drawn Biden into a dangerous game of chicken which has the potential to annihilate both Israel and America.

Recently Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Zarif announced Iranian law would forbid nuclear inspections, effective immediately. Without inspections, how will any country know what Iran is doing? It can strike Israel very easily, and even the United States in a heartbeat. Is anyone paying attention?

Someone is trying to make Biden look like he is running the country, but his handlers need to be aware of the imminent danger this country faces.

Joe Biden seems bent on reversing anything that President Trump passed, even if it were beneficial. Does he know what is good from bad? Whether we approved of him or not, President Trump did an outstanding job of managing this country and revealed that former President Obama did not. Apparently, Joe Biden doesn't know how to manage either.

Let's rehire President Trump!

Fox should drop its 'news' pretense

Fox News used to be a partisan network that ran deceptive coverage, but during former President Trump's term it somehow got worse. It became a full-on propaganda machine, and it is still doubling down on support for Trump whenever tested.

Fox journalists Pete Hegseth and Dan Bongino gave impassioned pro-Trump speech at CPAC in Orlando, despite Fox still claiming to be nonpartisan.

A few months ago, Fox cracked down on its hosts and journalists appearing at partisan events, but the network is willing to throw all of its policies away if it means buttering up to Donald Trump.

Fox spent a quarter of a million dollars as a CPAC sponsor.

Greeson should join British tabloid press

What happened to the real Jay Greeson?

I was shocked and disappointed with his Times Free Press column on Tuesday in which he joked about the interview with Harry and Sally (Harry and Meghan). Many of us viewers looked forward to learning the truth about the inner workings of the royal family.

Maybe Jay would be happier writing for the British press who are so experienced writing nasty and demeaning headlines.
