The Rant

The Rant

December 2nd, 2018 in Opinion Rants

I have the heartbreak of psoriasis. Shall I blame President Trump for that?

At Thanksgiving our president said he was thankful for himself. Not the military, first responders, firefighters, or teachers, but himself. That says it all.

Illegal aliens formed a smaller San Ysidro invasion force five years ago, throwing rocks at the border patrol folks, but Trump wasn't president then.

Beetle Bailey cartoon had soldiers pick a 20-mile hike or going to Sunday service; told them to "pick the lesser of two evils!" Shameful.

Trillions of dollars in debt, stock market wiping out any earnings and GM slashing 14,000 jobs is just the beginning of another Trump failure.

Open-border illegals will not fight for America. Decent Americans should not risk their lives to protect illegals or Democratic traitors.

Ivanka Trump was using her personal email for government business. You know what that means: "Lock her up!"

Let's support the president or make a suggestion about a solution to the immigration situation.

Do you prefer people who grab other people's money (Nissan's Chairman Carlos Ghosn), or people who grab people's private parts?

America must protect its borders. Lefties, what exactly do you propose for the caravan? Let them all in? On your dime, not mine.

Carrots and Peas got off; but we still have to wait for President Trump.

Trump said that "radical environmentalists" are the cause of California's wildfires. I thought that Hillary was the cause.

Trump speaks bluntly, crudely. But listen. He is trying to stand up for America.

If President Trump traded off Khashoggi's life for billions, how much is yours worth and would he trade it off, too?

Commentator Ron Hart is the uncle at Thanksgiving dinner who thinks his rude political jokes are funny. They're not.

Are you kidding me? Corker for president? He is a disgrace to our country, Tennessee and Chattanooga. Put a cork in it.

I do not donate to charity at Christmas. I donate every month. Chattanooga Food Bank, St. Jude, Salvation Army, etc.

Corker says look at Trump's actions, not words. But don't words matter, too?

Stupid liberals brought us Social Security, Medicare, minimum wage, 40-hour work week, overtime pay disgusting.

With so many problems with plastic pollution, why does EPB continue to use remote controls that don't work? My last one died before the batteries.

What is CBL doing to bring new businesses to Northgate Mall? It would be nice to see a Trader Joe's move into an empty space.

So Chattanooga is tough on young singles? Call the wah-ambulance. Get your face out of your phone and go talk to someone.

Hooray for a new Humane Society facility. This addition will be a wonderful asset for our county. Well done, commissioners.

Greg Vital is right: A monumental David and Goliath fight is shaping up in Meigs County. Grab your popcorn!

Isn't it weird that in America our flag and our culture offend so many people but our benefits don't?

Oh goody. Another round of arguments over contracted and independent bus drivers. Who has the political power now?

The last thing a respectable, publicly-traded company needs is our president threatening it. First GM, then who? Not a good precedent.

Trump came down harder on Jim Acosta for asking questions than he did Saudi Arabia for killing a journalist.

Note to self: Next time I go tandem hang-gliding, remember to double check that my harness is securely attached! Could you hang on for four minutes?

Got something on your mind? Tell us about it in 25 words or less.
