NASHVILLE -- While three of his top aides have publicly endorsed Hillary Clinton in her Democratic presidential bid, their boss, Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke, is keeping his opinions to himself in today's primary.

"Mayor Berke hasn't yet made a public endorsement," said his spokeswoman, Lacie Stone, in an email Sunday.

Stone is one of three Berke aides who have endorsed Clinton in her Democratic Primary race with U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont.

Also endorsing Clinton are Stacy Richardson, Berke's chief of staff, and Molly Cooper, the mayor's director of constituent services.

Berke is a former Democratic state senator. The Chattanooga mayor is a nonpartisan post.

On Friday, Nashville Mayor Megan Barry announced her support for Clinton and appeared Sunday with the former U.S. senator and secretary of state at a Nashville event.

Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero, also a Democrat, has made no public pronouncement on the race.
