Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., is scheduled to meet with GOP front-runner Donald Trump Monday, the Washington Post is reporting.

Trump is the presumed GOP nominee after all other party candidates suspended their campaigns. Many top Republicans consider Corker to be a potential running mate, according to the Washington Post. The meeting will take place at Trump Tower in New York, according to the report.

Corker is the former mayor of Chattanooga. He is currently the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the junior senator from Tennessee.

Corker recently spoke at length with Trump on the phone about foreign policy and called the talk "a really important step in a good direction." The senator praised Trump for bringing realism and maturity to the foreign policy conversation.
