The NCAA has chosen not to punish Tennessee running back Bryce Brown after investigating his connection to fundraising for a series college recruiting trips while in high school.
Brown will not have to repay any money raised for the trip and he will not be suspended for any games, making him eligible for the Vols' season-opener against Western Kentucky on Sept. 5.
UT coach Lane Kiffin said after Wednesday's practice that Brown had been facing a possible suspension of four games.
Brown has been listed by many observers as one of the top freshman running backs in the nation.
