The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga softball team lost for the fourth time in a row Saturday, 8-2 to Illinois State, but then ended that streak by beating Idaho State 4-0 in the Littlewood Classic in Tempe, Ariz.

Toni Hutchison was 2-for-3 with a home run in each game and totaled four RBIs for the Lady Mocs (5-6). Against Idaho State (1-7), she singled in a run in the first inning and added a two-run homer ahead of Jessica Traxler's RBI single in the sixth.

Tiffany Baker was 2-for-3 in that game and Michelle Fuzzard (1-1) pitched a four-hitter with eight strikeouts and no walks and had one of UTC's seven hits.

Hutchison homered in the second inning against Illinois State (3-5), which had scored four runs off Kandice Irwin in the first inning, and Brittany Eason followed a Hutchison double in the fourth with an RBI double. Niki Stansell and Abby Olson were a combined 5-for-7 with a home run apiece and five RBIs for the Redbirds.
