Junior Rodriguez and Michael Brown each homered and batted in four runs and Tanner Moore and Edgar Molina had four hits apiece, Moore scoring four runs and Molina driving in three, as Lee University won 16-5 in baseball Monday at the University of the Cumberlands.

Seth Walker was 3-for-4 with a homer and three runs for Lee, No. 7 in the NAIA.

No. 3 Cumberland beat Bryan 15-5, but Kevin Layne was 3-for-3 with three RBIs and Pablo Rodriguez was 2-for-3 with an RBI in defeat for the visiting Lions.

Cleveland State defeated the Tennessee Wesleyan junior varsity 10-2 and 5-0, as Scott Laughlin and Zane Leffew each struck out eight in a four- and a two-hitter. Brandon Rader homered among three hits and Cody Hooper had a three-run shot in the first game. Hooper had a sacrifice fly and another homer in game two.
