KNOXVILLE - The diagnosis is in on Tennessee defensive end Jacques Smith's foot injury.

The rising sophomore and former star at Ooltewah High School suffered a fractured metatarsal in his right foot during Wednesday's practice, according to UT Director of Sports Medicine Jason McVeigh in a release.

Smith will have surgery next week to repair the fracture and is expected to be ready for the beginning of summer workouts in June.
