Tennessee Tech women's basketball tops Morgan State at Chattanooga Christmas Classic

Three Tennessee Tech players combined for 36 points to lead the Golden Eagles to a 62-56 win over Morgan State on Sunday at McKenzie Arena in the first game of day two at the Chattanooga Christmas Classic.

Candace Parson, Catherine Taylor and Yaktavie Hickson each had 12 points for Tech (3-9) and Hickson and Parson grabbed six rebounds apiece in the win.

Morgan State (2-10) was led by Braennan Farrar with 20 points, while Danielle Robinson score 11 and Dinah Jones and Zuri White each scored 10. White and Lexus Spears each had seven rebounds, but Tennessee Tech won the rebounding battle 40-29.
