The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga coaching staff came away pleased with the results of a scrimmage Saturday morning at Finley Stadium.

The offense finished with four touchdowns in different situations, while the defense had two sacks and seven tackles for loss as the focus for Saturday's 91-play scrimmage was evaluating some of the younger players.

A majority of the established starters played sparingly on both sides of the ball.

True freshman Kyle Nalls was the game's leading rusher, with seven carries for 66 yards and a pair of touchdowns - including one from 44 yards out around the left side. Richardre Bagley had 45 yards and a score from 23 yards out.

Alphonso Stewart was the leading receiver with 27 yards and a touchdown on three catches.

Vantrel McMillan finished with a pair of tackles for loss, while Toyvian Brand and D.J. Prather had sacks.
