The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga wrestling team is off the road for a while, and the Mocs are looking to extend their win streak to four.

They host Campbell University at 2 this afternoon at Maclellan Gym, the first event they will have wrestled there since a narrow loss to then Top 25 member Purdue.

"Well, we did wrestle the Southern Scuffle at home (McKenzie Arena), which is like a dual meet on steroids, but it has been a while since we wrestled at Big Mac," Mocs coach Heath Eslinger said.

Campbell, which will not wrestle for the Southern Conference title due to penalties for academic deficiencies, has struggled this season, forfeiting the first four weights in going 0-4 (0-2 in the conference).

Following his team's SoCon-schedule-opening win at Gardner-Webb on Friday, Eslinger indicated that the Mocs were a little tired after two days of the Scuffle and then two days at the Virginia Duals.

It was at the Virginia Duals that they started their current win streak with victories over Nebraska-Kearney and Kent State.

"There will likely be some different faces in the (UTC) lineup," Eslinger said.

Likely changes include Sean Mappes stepping in at 174 pounds and McCoy Newberg or John Shrader at 184.

Newberg will get Campbell's top performer to date in sophomore Wille Heino (15-9). Heino defeated John Lampe at the Hokie Open and again at the Southern Scuffle this season. An injury currently has Lampe sidelined.

UTC never has lost in six meets against the Camels, who joined the SoCon as a wrestling affiliate in 2012. The teams met most recently on Feb. 8 of last year with UTC scoring a 32-10 win on the road.

The Mocs remain at home for three straight conference matches. They'll host The Citadel on Friday, VMI on Sunday and then Davidson on Jan. 30.
